1. SAFETY.

- You may only use first names when posting/communicating using the blog. 

-You MAY NOT give or use any personal information such as, your last name, your address, telephone number, email address or any personal information of your classmates.

2. RESPONSES- Thoughts, Opinions, and Constructive Criticism.

-You must use rules of grammar, punctuation, and spelling to the best of your ability.

-You must be respectful in how you respond to any classmate’s response.  It is acceptable to disagree or have a different opinion from your classmates….Express your views in a dignified, intelligent and respectful manner.  Anything you write and post to the Blog is there for the World to see….including Me or your Parents!

3. GRADING.

-Blogging is a graded activity.  You will be assessed in the following areas.

1. Punctuation, Grammar, and Spelling

2. Writing for Understanding- Will the readers understand what you are writing about.  Introduce your responses and thoughts clearly and expand on your ideas fully.

3. Inclusion of Key Terms and Concepts.

4. Effort

    I agree to all of these rules, they seem resonable. I think that this is a good idea because typing is a lot easier and we won’t be able to forget it in the printer.

    I agree with the rules and i think this will be helpful because we have are own little place to talk about history with are classmates.

    I agree to these rules becuase they will keep us safe and will keep us learning. This bloging will help becuase then we can comunicate with eachother and comment on different topics.

    I agree to the rules of the bloging website. I think that blogging in a good idea because it will be a good way to share our thoughts ideas with people in our class.

    Yeah this is pretty darn cool. I like how we can basically have a conversation online about History stuff…this way we don’t have live arguments about potatoes…

    I agree with the blogging guide and I think it is a good idea to blog because it is a lot easier and we can have online conversations.

    These rules are reasonable. I think this is a good idea because if we miss anything in class, we’ll all be able to share eachothers ideas.

    I agree to these rules. I think this is a good way of having a discussion about a topic in history. We can read about what other people have to say and we can express our own opinion.

    I agree with these rules because I think it will be a good way to express our ideas to the whole class. It will also be good to have other people be able to read them and possibly realize things that they wouldn’t have been able to do before reading other people’s blogs.

    I agree to these rules. I think this will be affective because we can see other peoples comments and know what other people need to work on so we do not make the same mistakes.

    i think that this blog idea is a great idea so we could continue with all of our great discusion in class here on the blog but i still do not think you need to approve it because it takes time for you to approve things for us to be able to read it.

    I agree to the rules. I think this is a good idea for homework because it is easier to use and we don’t have to print our work out. Also it will be helpful to read other people’s work so we can get new ideas that we might have missed before.

    I agree with the rules. Blogging sounds fun and it will be like having an inclass discussion online. Blogging is going to be a lot different from last term but I think I will like it. This is a great idea!

    I agree with these rules, it is a great idea to have a blog. I think it is important to see other people’s thoughts and ideas. It’s a good way of communication outside of class.

    I agree with these rules and they should be followed.

    I think that the blog will help a lot. There is only a certain number of people in a class and it is a good way of communication between classes. It will help because we can’t forget our homework on the kitchen table…it will be on the blog!
    It also will help so that we can see other’s ideas and maybe notice something that we missed. Also, it probably will improve our typing, and knowledge of history.
    I personally think it will help people rember things better if we type it out on the computer and see other’s thoughts. It also will be interusting to see other’s thoughts on someone else’s thoughts.
    Before we couldn’t see other’s thoughts and homework. Other people couldn’t see my thoughts and comment on them. Now we can, and that is what I think is so great about this blog.
    It is a great idea and I’m glad that you did it Mr. Chauncey!

    I agree with the rules completely. They seem fair and will probably work. The rules about the respecting others opinios definately seem well thought out. This will be an easy way not to lose our homework.
